Wayne Carini, Chasing Classic Cars TV/F40 Motorsports

With a lifetime of experience in automobile restoration under his belt, master car restorer Wayne Carini has a resume that includes body and paint work on rare car collections owned by the likes of David Letterman, tennis great Ivan Lendl, and the DuPont family. He has been featured in the New York Times as well as numerous automobile magazines, starred in two one-hour television specials on Discovery’s Velocity channel, and is the host of Chasing Classic Cars. The owners of the most exclusive and secret garages open up their doors only to him as Wayne is truly one of the world’s foremost experts on preparing, and offering collector automobiles at auction.


McKeel Hagerty, Hagerty Insurance

Mr. McKeel Hagerty is the Chief Executive Officer of Hagerty, the world’s largest provider of classic car insurance and largest database of classic car information. His knowledge and enthusiasm have given him a reputation as an authority within the automotive industry, representing the classic car community on numerous boards and advisory groups, and has made numerous appearances as an automotive expert on ESPN, Speed, Discovery, CNBC and Fox Business. Mr. Hagerty is also the youngest judge to ever serve at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and has continued to serve for more than 10 years. .


Jim Menneto, Hemmings Motor News

Jim Menneto has been President and Publisher of Hemming’s Motor News since May of 2002 when parent company American City Business Journals purchased it. Jim has been with American City for close to 30 years starting as the Advertising Director at the Capital District Review in Albany, New York where he was promoted to Publisher within 3 months. He then went on to become Publisher of the Boston Business Journal a post he held for 13 years. Jim also was a Dale Carnegie Sales Course Instructor for many years and served with the USMC in Viet Nam as a Medic. As a life- long car enthusiast and Instrument rated pilot Hemming’s allows Jim to have a career immersed in what he loves to do.


Oscar Pereda, Michelin North America

Oscar Pereda is Director of High Performance Business segment for Michelin North America. For as long as he can remember Oscar Pereda has loved all things that roll, especially those things that roll fast. He began his career at Michelin as a mechanical engineer in Detroit developing tires for Dodge Viper, Dodge Ram and Jeep. He then moved onto product marketing and onto brand marketing where he crafted the Michelin supercar expo at SEMA. He then moved to Europe and turned that expo into a business with clients like Alpina, Koenigsegg, Manthey, Ruf and Tesla. He has been a USAC licensed racer, worked for ABC Sports on the Indy 500, wrenched at Russell Racing, supported multiple automotive world records and worked for the Grand Prix du Mardi Gras in his home town of New Orleans.


Wade Kawasaki, Coker Tire/SEMA Hall of Fame (Moderator)

Wade Kawasaki is one of the automotive hobby’s most influential business leaders with more than 30 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket. He was introduced to the hobby at the young age of 10 and he hasn’t looked back since. In the early years, Kawasaki worked for a number of SEMA member companies and in 1987, he founded Exports International—a company his wife Rose runs today. Kawasaki currently serves as President and COO of The Coker Group, where he is responsible for overseeing new business acquisitions, structuring global distribution and manufacturing, as well as managing corporate governance, marketing and overall corporate infrastructure.
