Russo and Steele’s Scottsdale event has risen from also ran status to one of the premier vintage car auctions.

Nicholas Cage’s 1970 Hemi Cuda Will Be Sold at Russo and Steele’s 9th Annual Scottsdale Auction Event

GALEN GOVIER Inspected; 100% numbers matching

Scottsdale, AZ. (Dec 3, 2008) -- Thousands of collector automobile enthusiasts descend into Scottsdale each January to participate in the week long collector automobile events. The 9th Annual Russo and Steele Scottsdale auction event will offer a range of highly elusive, legendary, and the never before offered at auction collector automobiles; for example, Academy Award-winning actor Nicholas Cage’s 1970 Hemi ‘Cuda Hardtop. This particular 1970 Hemi 'Cuda Hardtop was delivered from the factory in "Triple Back" with the pistol grip 4-speed and Super Trak Pak Dana w/4:10 and was visually inspected by GALEN GOVIER in September 2005 as 100% numbers matching. The motor and transmission have been completely rebuilt and after the completed restoration its engine was broken-in and tuned on a dyno.

This Hemi Cuda is 100% correct with all the factory makings and dated components just as it had when it left the production line in Nov of 1969. Fully loaded its options are the original 426 Hemi engine, 4-speed trans, Argent Shaker, space saver tire, Black Velvet paint, Black vinyl bucket seats and interior, Black Vinyl top, Super Track Pak, rallye inst/cluster, rim blow steering wheel, rallye wheels. The documentation includes the window sticker, owner’s manual, owner’s history and receipts. This original Hemi 'Cuda is in the Chrysler registry as number 128 of the 284 1970 Hemi 'Cuda's built with a 4-speed. With its Triple Black color combination this Hemi Cuda reaches rare status for any original muscle car, but becomes highly elusive when you figure in that it is a Hemi Cuda. And as a bonus, the title states the current owner of this automobile as Nicholas Cage.
