Russo and Steele Monterey Moves to Ocean Front Property
Russo and Steele will debut its all new venue on the Waterfront this August in Monterey!
Scottsdale, Arizona (March 27, 2012) - The 12th Annual Sports and Muscle in Monterey auction held by Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auctions has announced that it’s moving its venue to the waterfront remaining at the epicenter of the classic car week. Russo and Steele will feature 250 of the highest quality, collectible automobiles offered for auction over three days, August 16-18th, 2012. The new, dramatic coastal backdrop will provide a spectacular environment for its all new Monterey auction transformation.
The new location will remain in the heart of downtown Monterey, adjacent to the famed Fisherman’s Wharf on Del Monte Avenue and Figueroa Street and offer significant advantages to Russo and Steele’s auction attendees. Russo and Steele will introduce a structure similar to its popular Scottsdale layout that will afford an “all-encompassing environment” to hold the event elements including the main auction block, vehicle staging, food and beverage service, VIP Bidder Areas, vendors, sponsors and all the amenities that are uniquely associated with Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auction events.
“A huge ‘thank you’ goes out to our partners at the City of Monterey, including the Mayor, Council and Staff. Countless hours were invested, looking at every conceivable option to improve, expand and perpetuate our long standing relationship in the City of Monterey with this extended agreement. We are excited to present our twelfth annual event at our new home on the Waterfront,” said Drew Alcazar, the co-owner and CEO of Russo and Steele.
The excitement of the all-inclusive auction environment will renew and re-ignite the Russo and Steele Monterey experience solidifying Russo and Steele’s Sports and Muscle in Monterey as a must attend event during this prestigious week. Bidders, consignors, guests, and general public are welcome to experience the auction block excitement.
