With a lifetime of experience under his belt, master restorer Wayne Carini has a resume that includes body and paint work on rare car collections owned by the likes of David Letterman, tennis great Ivan Lendl, and the DuPont family. He has been featured in the New York Times as well as numerous automobile magazines, starred in two one-hour television specials on Discovery’s Velocity channel, and is the host of Chasing Classic Cars. The owners of the most exclusive and secret garages open up their doors only to him as Wayne is truly one of the world’s foremost experts on preparing, and offering collector automobiles at auction.
Barry Meguiar, Car Crazy TV/Meguiar’s Inc.
Barry Meguiar represents the third generation of the company his grandfather founded in 1901. Meguiar’s “men in black” can be found at almost every major car show across the country, and around the world, each weekend. Barry is the creator of the Car Crazy Radio and Car Crazy Television which strives to unite and mobilize car guys globally, with the goal of promoting and growing the car hobby. Special emphasis is always placed on handing the passion for the hobby down to the next generation. Corky Coker, Coker Tire Company
Corky Coker serves as CEO of Coker Group which operates nine companies: Coker Tire, Phoenix Race Tires, Roadster Wire Wheels, Specialty Wheel, Wheel Vintiques, Honest Charley Speed Shop & Garage, Coker Cycle Co., and The Great Race. As evidence of his leadership and success, Corky has received numerous industry awards. He was elected SEMA Chairman of the Board from 2003 to 2005 and was inducted into its hall of fame in 2008. He has also received the 2005 NHRA Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2005 ARMO Person of the Year Award, and the 2008 SEMA Wheel and Tire Council Person of the Year as well as Meguiar’s 2004 Collector Car Person of the Year Award.
Jonathan Klinger, Hagerty Collector Cars
Jonathan Klinger is the Vice President of Public Relations for Hagerty—the world’s leader in classic car insurance and valuations expertise. In this role, he has increased Hagerty’s position as the influential source of classic car knowledge, which has led to significant national media attention. Additionally, he has expanded awareness and support of Hagerty’s advocacy programs by introducing young people to the classic car hobby. Prior to joining Hagerty, Jonathan was the Director of Development for the Automotive Restoration Program at McPherson College, where he also holds multiple degrees. Jonathan currently serves on the McPherson College Board of Trustees.
Wade Kawasaki, Coker Tire/SEMA Hall of Fame (Moderator)
Wade Kawasaki is one of the automotive hobby’s most influential business leaders with more than 30 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket. He was introduced to the hobby at the young age of 10 and he hasn’t looked back since. In the early years, Kawasaki worked for a number of SEMA member companies and in 1987, he founded Exports International—a company his wife Rose runs today. Kawasaki currently serves as President and COO of The Coker Group, where he is responsible for overseeing new business acquisitions, structuring global distribution and manufacturing, as well as managing corporate governance, marketing and overall corporate infrastructure.
