This 1970 numbers matching Oldsmobile 442 is in Concours condition. Fully restored to exacting specifications, this classic offers a rare opportunity to own a piece of history.
Mirror paint in the original Burnished Gold (Dupont WA4023) accents the flawless convertible power top. Extensively documented restoration over the course of a decade can be seen in every detail of this car. For instance, an entirely original 1970 442 convertible was used to gauge GM factory panel fit. VIN clearly stamped on block.
This meticulously restored (full frame-off, rotisserie) build is extensively documented, with an entire binder of photographs illustrating the exacting process. These show a complete rebirth of the car, through rotisserie paint, seats rebuilt from the frames up, chrome work, electrical and fuel system replacements, suspension, braking system.
This complements a huge binder of documents and receipts which fully detail the exhaustive restoration process. Hundreds of pages outline the build process, down to the $1,000 to rebuild the original factory radio.
