The 1967 model year was the final one and to many, the best, for the second-generation Corvette. Regarded as the cleanest-styled of the ’63 to ’67 model years, refinements were mainly detail-oriented, most noticeably topped with the 427’s aggressive “Stinger” hood. This beautiful Marina Blue convertible received a frame-off restoration in 2002 and retains that fresh, clean, restored condition. Powered by a correct 1967 427/435-hp “Tri-Power” engine (3904351 block and 3894374 intake) mated to the original 4-speed Muncie transmission, this Corvette has the power of a real beast, yet drives easy with power steering, power brakes, upgraded brake rotors, and Hurst shifter with original-appearing shifter handle. An upgraded aluminum radiator keeps the car cool, and electronic ignition gives the engine a reliable spark. No noisy side pipes on this one to burn your legs on – the reproduction N11 optional off-road exhaust is under the car and exits at the rear. White leather seat covers, optional headrests, and white door panels grace the interior which is in virtually impeccable condition. Gauge cluster and radio were restored and function perfectly. All chrome has been re-plated, and all stainless trim has been polished to perfection. Correct 15X6 Rally wheels carry period correct reproduction US Royal redline tires. The white stripe on the “Stinger” hood complements the white interior and beautiful white convertible top. This is a beautiful car with the Marina Blue paint matching the original trim tag specifications.
