Rotisserie-restored during 2011 and 2012, this 1971 Road Runner is an original RM23 Air Grabber car. Featuring laser-perfect body lines, it is finished in the original F8 Sherwood Green with a black vinyl top, dual mirrors, optional blackout hood, “Go Wing” and front chin spoilers.
The professionally blueprinted 452 cu. in. stroker is equipped with a 6-Pack manifold with Demon Six Shooter carbs and drives a pistol grip Brewers 833 4-speed with a McCloud clutch, driving a 3.54 Dana 60 with Sure Grip. Other upgrades include MSD ignition and a Comp Cam. Complete specs come with the car. Suspension upgrades include a complete Firm Feel suspension, close-ratio power steering box with close-ratio idler arm, sway bars front and rear, Bilstein shocks, stock front disc brakes, 11″ rear drums, and subframe connectors. The car is lowered approximately 1″. Black bucket seat interior, dash with tach. Air Grabber is complete and works. This car began as a stock restoration and turned into a complete resto-mod. The car was raced by the original owner in the Northwest for many years before being taken off the road in the early ‘90s. This car has taken Best in Class at several well-known Mopar events including the Spring Fling. The car is awesome to drive and has the torque of a Hemi.
