This 1961 Toyota FJ25 is 1 of 162 shipped to the United States and it is documented as #23 on the FJX2 Registry. In addition to the original numbers matching F135 motor, it even retains the hand-crank starter handle inside the cab. It has the original and rare 4-speed transmission the odo reads 37,000 miles. It has the vacuum operated windshield wipers, heater with electric fan, double bell horns and the glass bowl fuel filter which are always missing along with the T-Bird on the hood, the fuse box cover still has the paper diagram inside and intact. Along with the original hard top which is the rarest and very few produced with accordion style rear doors which was mainly sent to northern states and is rust-free. Most of these were lost to the rust and abuse but not this one. It has new paint on the rust-free body and new interior, motor has been checked out and it runs and drives as a 1961 Toyota FJ25 should. Quite possibly, it is one of the most original and cleanest examples without a frame-off restoration to be found out there!
