Finished in Torch Red with Arctic White over Tan interior, this 1956 Chevrolet Nomad Pro Street is the product of a nut & bolt restoration and build performed over 7 years by the previous owner. Highlights include a wicked 461 BBC with ported heads, roller rockers, and 9.5-1 compression, plus 125-shot Nitrous, hooked to a Turbo 400 automatic with B&M shift kit and Ford 9-inch rear end. Featuring a tubbed rear end, full cage, and a multitude of updates throughout. One-inch square tubing and new sheetmetal was used for the floors and a smoothed firewall free of accessories with a detailed engine bay for a clean appearance. The suspension has been lowered 4 inches with springs and spindles, has Weld racing wheels with Mickey Thompson tires, BeCool radiator, dual exit exhaust, Moroso valve covers, power steering, power brakes with discs up front, 16-gallon fuel cell with Holley pump/filter, power windows, power driver’s seat, R.J.S. Race harnesses, Pro-Comp gauges, Grant steering wheel, Sony audio deck and Xplode speakers, tan carpeting with matching red floor mats, and tinted windows. This is a one-of-a-kind Nomad that has the appearance of a classic but the performance to keep up with the cars of today!
