Vehicle to be offered for Auction sale January 27th – 31st, 2016 at Russo and Steele’s 16th Annual Scottsdale Arizona Auction. Please contact us for more information.

This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is a definitive late-1960s musclecar in great black/black livery, powered by a 335-hp 383 Magnum with automatic transmission. A numbers matching example, it is accompanied by the original build sheet and a reproduction window sticker. Mechanical features include manual steering and manual drum brakes (CPP front discs are uninstalled), an open 83/4-inch rear end with 3.23:1 gears, Hedman headers, and 15-inch steel wheels with Redline Firestone tires. The exhaust system features all new crossovers, Turbo Flow mufflers, a correct rebuilt radiator with new heater core and fan motor, electronic ignition, new wiring throughout, and all new front suspension. The engine is detailed in Hemi Orange.

Retaining the iconic “Beep Beep” horn, the Road Runner features an $18K paint job with a mirror finish over a super straight body with outstanding gaps. The removable flat black Fiberglass pinned hood is secured using custom made milled and polished stainless-steel pin stanchions. Original bumpers are show chromed triple-chrome. Undercarriage was sandblasted and painted POR15 and the Runner retains solid floors and frame rails with no undercoating. New scuff plates, new body seals and sill plates, new door hinges, new Redline tires 70/15 front and rear, new 15×8 cop car steel wheels with milled stainless lugs are other great items. A new grille and headlamp cans are also present. The body side character lines are a perfect match. The black interior features bench seats with new seat covers, a new headliner, and new carpeting. A 1969 AM/FM radio provides tunes and the trunk is solid, finished in spackle paint. Eastwood thermo-coustic barrier was applied to the floor boards and rear door panels for a comfortable, high-quality experience.
