This 1969 Pontiac GTO is a PHS documented California black plate car, with 1200 miles since complete frame-off rotisserie restoration in 2004. The current power train is a custom-built Butler Performance 467 cu. in. putting down 600hp and 589 ft/lbs of torque, TCI Street Fighter 3-speed race built transmission and Moser nodular rear end end with locker. Car also comes with the original numbers matching 400, TH400 transmission as well as original rear end and suspension components. The original engine in top running condition and transmission have approx. 12,000 miles since they were rebuilt just prior to the complete restoration and replaced with the performance power train currently installed.
The car was completely stripped, cleaned, painted and reassembled using only OEM and NOS parts, painted in original color with the black Cordova roof and even the original spare tire is in the trunk. The interior is also completely restored to new condition including seats, carpet, headliner, etc. Complete upgraded Hotchkis suspension, Wilwood disc brakes, American Racing wheels. All paperwork, receipts and photos from restoration are available as well as the original 1969 California issued license plates.
