Retaining the original matching numbers engine/drivetrain, it has enjoyed 40 years of single-family ownership. Easily considered the most desirable of all ponycars, this gorgeous Mustang Convertible sets the standard by which all iconic Mustangs are judged. Even more so today, it is perfect for cruising the beach, touring in a car club rally, or winning awards at your local car show. Gorgeous and highly appointed, this Mustang demonstrates what investment-grade Ford Mustangs are all about.

Today, 1964 ½ Ford Mustang Convertibles are not only quite rare and very difficult to find in any condition, let alone one with this level of restoration. This beautiful Mustang is finished in its original Poppy Red paint color over a razor-straight body. The fit and finish are superb, as is the chrome, trim work, and interior appointments. The seats are the original unrestored seats, exhibiting little, if any, wear. Mechanically, it is virtually perfect and as-new, with this Mustang powered by its original restored inline 6-cylinder engine, restored original 3-speed manual transmission, and restored original differential.

The restoration was performed utilizing NOS parts and the highest quality, period correct reproduction parts throughout. This Mustang was intended to be as perfect and beautiful as possible. The list of new parts on this Mustang is exhaustive and too long to even list. Even engine filters are period correct ‘Rotunda’ filters and the trunk appears like new, as if it has never been opened. Driving this vehicle is truly just as if you had stepped back in time to 1964. It is smooth, quiet, and represents everything you would have expected and more.
