This 1972 Chevrolet Silverado (½-ton long bed, 2WD Fleetside) is a show-quality truck benefiting from extensive restoration and customization work. Paint and body work have been professionally done by Rob Blagg and show excellent quality workmanship. The body is very straight, and the paint is uniformly colored with a smooth glossy deep finish. Paint color is 1987 BMW red. All emblems have been removed for a cleaned up original look. The truck has a lower stance and a cowl hood. It is set off with a big little-sized combination American Racing Wheel polished Torque Thrust alloy wheels. Tires are Extreme Performance NITTO NT450. The truck bed is inlaid with quality hardwood, stained and protected to a high gloss, with the wood being accented by chrome strips.

Mechanically, the truck is powered by a professionally-built 1994 Tuned Port Injection 350 V-8 engine including Chevrolet Vortec heads and a performance chip in the computer, Street & Performance-built TPI unit, and serpentine belt system. The transmission is a 700 R4 automatic with overdrive that has been rebuilt and fitted with a shift kit. The truck is also equipped with power disk brakes, power steering, and a vintage air conditioning system. The engine, transmission and other mechanical components have 362 miles on them, as the odometer represents mileage since restoration was completed. The engine compartment has been highly detailed for a show quality appearance.

Interior: has also been tastefully restored and modified for a mild custom look. The door panels and split bench seat are upholstered in classy beige leather with a fold-down center wooden console. The dash panel is glossy wood finish with round “Classic Instruments” gauges. The radio/cassette player is a retro-style and has attractive speakers mounted down by the door panels. It has been updated with a tilt Ididit steering column and custom steering wheel.
