Finished in black with rare Italian stripe, this Scuderia Spider 16M is one of only 499 produced for the entire world to celebrating Ferrari’s achievement of the 2008 Formula 1 Constructor’s World Title. The Scuderia Spider 16M is a drop-top, 8-cylinder mid-engine sports car combining the 430 Scuderia with the open-air pleasure of the F430 Spider. The Scuderia Spider 16M was available in a choice of two new signature color schemes: black with grey trim, while a tricolor livery is also available as part of the Carrozzeria Scaglietti Personalisation Programme. The car also sports a special plaque on its rear grille commemorating Ferrari’s 16th World Constructor’s title and the interior includes a silver “limited series” plaque just above the air vents in the center of the dashboard. Other exclusive features include a roll bar with carbon-fiber outer shell and a specific new-generation audio system that can be combined with the removable customized Ferrari iPod Touch 16 GB with central dock in front of the dash. Technically, this car has a dry weight of 1,340 Kg (80 kg lighter than the F430 Spider), combined with the 510-hp V-8 engine for a power-to-weight ratio of 2.6 kg/hp, the Scuderia Spider delivers 0-100 kph (62 mph) acceleration in just 3.7 seconds and a heady top speed of 315 kph (195 mph).
