Introduced in 1964, Ford’s sporty Mustang was an overnight sensation with its winning combination of performance, personal luxury, fresh styling and surprising affordability. The Mustang created its own market segment and went on to become the most successful new car launch in automotive history. Part of the Mustang’s appeal, in addition to its trim size and sparkling performance, was its long list of available options and accessories.

As the competition would begin to catch up, Ford would introduce something new and improved, keeping the Mustang fresh. The first major styling revisions were made for 1967, with the car now designed to accept Ford’s FE-Series big block V-8 engine. With its five available engines ranging from the 120-horsepower, 200 cubic-inch ‘six’ to the 320-horsepower 390 V-8, Mustangs ranged from mild to wild. The standard Mustang included all Ford safety features, along with front bucket seats, full carpeting, a floor-mounted shifter, vinyl interior trim, a heater, wheel covers and a cigarette lighter, providing a high level of value for the money.

This 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible has been recently inspected and is described as a great driving car with a strong engine and the transmission shifting well. A high level of attention was paid to detail during the restoration. Nearly all the suspension components on the car are new, as are many of the body panels. The power convertible top was observed to operate well and showed no signs of any issues. Door alignments, trim pieces, and windows mechanisms were all recently serviced. This Mustang is consistent as offered with the data reported on the Marti report which accompanies the vehicle. Paint-meter readings are fairly consistent throughout the car, with most of the body panels in the 20-50 mil range. The odometer indicates 50,250 miles at the time of inspection. An honestly presented restoration, this 1967 Mustang Convertible will provide a great way to enter and enjoy the world of classic Mustang ownership and enjoyment.
