This 1966 sapphire blue Shelby GT 350 is equipped with original factory 4-speed and has factory Lemans stripes. This 1966 Shelby #2330 is listed in the Shelby Registry and one of the last ones built in 1966. Some of the rare original features are the seldom seen all steel Shelby hood and the chrome Shelby wheels used on the Hertz models and the last 1966 Shelby production cars.
A long and thoughtful hunt for the right NOS parts went into the 2 year ground up rotisserie restoration of #23330 by long time Shelby restorer Jeff Yergovich of R&A motor sports and myself Bob Gaines SAAC Regional Rep and Concours Shelby judge for both SAAC and MCA. Those that know me are aware of how meticulous I am at judging and Shelby details.
This fresh restoration takes advantage of new information about details that myself, the SAAC club, Shelby restoration shops and other Shelby judges have discovered over many years. Quality down from the VIN marked engine block to the 30 year old NOS original type tires.
